The Vleermuizengrot was opened in February 2025 and together with the Beverburcht (Beaver Lodge), it is located where the old Blauwe Vogelhuis was.
The Vleermuizengrot can house 38 people, but in combination with the Beverburcht, it can house 76 people. The Vleermuizengrot is, due to the location of the partition, slightly larger than the Beverburcht. The adapted bathroom is available (if necessary) via the toilet group.
What does the Beverburcht offer:
- Six bedrooms with 3 bunk beds each (36 beds in total)
- 1 (bed)room next to the living area with 2 beds, of which one is a high-low bed
- Bathroom with aids for people with disabilities (hoist, shower chair), this is only available if necessary
- Sanitary facilities with three toilets, three showers and two sinks
- A fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, steamer
- Full inventory
- Living room with 8 tables, 40 chairs, a closet for your own belongings and a wood stove
- Terrace with picnic tables and campfire area
- Please note. Pillows, (fitted) sheets, sleeping bags and towels must be brought by yourself
