The Beverburcht was opened in February 2025 and together with the Vleermuizengrot (Bat cave), it is located where the old Blauwe Vogelhuis was.
The Beverburcht can house 38 people, but in combination with the Vleermuizengrot, it can house 76 people. The Beverburcht is the best building we have, that is equipped for people with a disability.
What does the Beverburcht offer:
- Six bedrooms with 3 bunk beds each (36 beds in total)
- 1 (bed)room next to the living area with 2 beds, of which one is a high-low bed
- Bathroom with aids for people with disabilities (hoist, shower chair), this is only available if necessary
- Sanitary facilities with three toilets, three showers and two sinks
- A fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, steamer
- Full inventory
- Living room with 8 tables, 40 chairs, a closet for your own belongings and a wood stove
- Terrace with picnic tables and campfire area
- Please note. Pillows, (fitted) sheets, sleeping bags and towels must be brought by yourself
