Buitenzorg is easily accessible by car or with public transportation.

By air
Schiphol International Airport is the main airport of The Netherlands and is closest to Buitenzorg. From Schiphol you can take a direct train to Baarn. It takes approximately 1 hour to get there. From the railway station in Baarn it’s just a 20 min walk to Buitenzorg.
By ferry
From the UK you can take a ferry to the ports of Hoek van Holland and Europoort (close to Rotterdam) or to IJmuiden (close to Amsterdam). You can also take a ferry to Belgium (Zeebrugge) or France (Calais, Dunkirk) and travel by car to Buitenzorg .

By Train
Buitenzorg Scout Centre is located at about 15 minutes walking distance from the Railway Station in Baarn. Travel directions from other locations can be found via the OV9292 website.
- In front of the station (with your back to the station building), turn left (Street: Gerrit van der Veenlaan).
- Follow this road along the railway until the T split at the end.
- Turn right (Street: Amsterdamsestraatweg).
- After a short while you will find the entrance to the Buitenzorg Scout Centre at your left.
By Car
Please take into account that there is limited parking space at the Scout Centre. Please read the camp site rules before you decide to travel to Buitenzorg by car.
By car, coming from Utrecht (from the south)
- A27 from Utrecht to Hilversum Noord/Amersfoort
- Exit A1/E231 Amersfoort (keep lane on the right!)
- Exit 10 (Baarn Noord)
- Follow N221, direction Soest
- About 800 meter past the roundabout you will find the Scout Centre entrance to your right.
By car, coming from Amsterdam (from the west)
- A1 from Amsterdam to Amersfoort
- Exit 10 (Baarn Noord)
- Follow N221, direction Soest
- About 800 meter past the roundabout you will find the Scout Centre entrance to your right.
By car, coming from Zwolle (from the north-east)
- A28 from Zwolle to Amersfoort
- At the 'Hoevelaken' highway crossing, take A1 to Hilversum/Amsterdam, take exit Baarn-Noord
- Follow N221, direction Soest
- About 800 meter past the roundabout you will find the Scout Centre entrance to your right.
By car, coming from Apeldoorn (from the east)
- A1 from Apeldoorn to Hilversum/Amsterdam, exit Baarn-Noord
- Follow N221, direction Soest
- About 800 meter past the roundabout you will find the Scout Centre entrance to your right.
